ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

Re: 3S-GE engine

Hi, a few months later and my beloved tez is in storage in a lock-up garage, in the slim hope an affordable engine appears. Am I correct in thinking more of being broken in Ireland? Are there any suppliers anyone knows of (I need to work out if it will be cheaper to get one shipped or get the ferry ...

3S-GE engine

I don't suppose anyone has a spare engine lying around do they?

I suspect that will be cheaper and more available than replacing the head and valves.
My Tez has been off the road for a couple months now and I really don't want to end up breaking her

3SGE camshafts wanted (with pulleys attached!)

Hey all - I'm after the camshafts with pulleys. I had my piston rings and valve seals done recently and before I could get down to help, my mechanic father had removed the pulleys from the camshafts in stripping the engine down! Argh. He managed to put them all back together but it's not runn...

Re: INSTALLING A CAR ALARM ON THE TOYOTA ALTEZZA

Do you have any more info SIltezza? I've had my tezza about 5 years now and the guy that had it before had a Clifford alarm fitted, but the door unlock button on the drivers door has never worked! Very frustrating (although I have gotten used to it by now), but if its a simple as soldering a wire......

Re: rattle

Do you have a HKS 4-1 manifold? Check this thread - http://www.tezzaworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=9965 - if your noise is the same as the guy on the other forum its deffo the HKS manifold. That is exactly what mine sounded like and it took me forever to pinpoint the issue (its a plate inside th...

Re: Manifold jingle

Cheers Mike, I did end up taking the plate out. When I oroginally posted it had already gone up to be welded but once back on the car there was still a slight rattle - cos they had only welded the end they could get to  so I took the plate out and had it welded again. http://i668.photobucket.c...

Re: Sxe10 obd scanner that works!

Well this works! I ordered one from a seller with UK stock - although then they realised they didn't and had to send it from China, still arrived pretty speedy and once I found an old Windows XP laptop at work it connected up great! I had a P1346, C1201, B0100, B0102, B0106 and a B1423 - I cleared t...

Re: Manifold jingle

thread resurrection! I really wish I had searched the forum for 'exhaust jingle' rather than 'exhaust rattle' as then I would have found this thread and not had to live with *the* most annoying noise for 6 months! Just like the OP I initially though it was the exhaust manifold but couldn't hear any ...
