Re: London Meet for Altezza - This Sunday 18th December

Yea again it's abit too far for me at the minute unfortunately. But hey ho there no rush for these things I plan on keep my altezza (or atleast another one if I finally give up on mine) for a good while and I check here most days so there still people to talk to about them :) I'm sure more people wi...

Re: My altezza goes off seconds after starting

I'm not too great with this sort of stuff but if one coil is still misfiring does that not point to one still being faulty? Where they all brand new parts you fitted? Failing that ita the coilpack I would of thought it would be somewhere further up the line before the coil causing that one coil to n...

Re: My altezza goes of seconds after starting

How does it cut out? Does it literally just cut out or does the idle slowly drop down and it stalls itself? Have you run any diagnostics on it to see if that pick anything up? It could be worth doing that especially if there's a problem with the coilpacks not working it should come up on a diagnosti...

Re: London Meet for Altezza - This Sunday 18th December

Sounds a good idea, I'll try to make it as I'm only about 49 mins from the ace but I can't promise anything.
Although if there is to be any other meets or events could you post them on here as I don't use Facebook :)

Re: Yet another low idle thread

Right so I finally got around to bridging the sensor that was mentioned and it has actually improved the idle. The strange thing is I got under the car and traced what the sensor is actually for, so it's got wires coming from the bottom of the inlet and the plug itself has lines running up to the po...

Re: Yet another low idle thread

I havnt tried bridging that sensor yet, but I'm going to give it ago in the next few day. But like I've said my car doesn't stall but it's damn annoying feeling like it's going to all the time. That's the thing mine did sort itself out last time but it took something stupid like 900km, but fingers c...

I've been through literally every thread I've found on here and the NZ site but I've never come across a definitive answer. So my question is does anyon...

Re: Cats kaput

But to be honest I haven't really looked into cats yet but my plan with mine was to try and find a smallish performan...

Re: Cats kaput

I think I read somewhere that is200 exhausts are different so they're probably no good unfortunately. The other option is get a performance cat welded in place of the old cat, that's what I'm planning on doing and mines f*** giving me really high emissions :p

Re: Steering wheel!

You'll need a boss kit to do it and some resistors to stop the airbag light coming on. The hub you need is the NRG model SRK121H, I bought mine from a UK company called "stlthy" as they do a steering wheel, boss and quick release for about £150 I think. There is a guide online I think on t...
