IK22 are generally only used when you have a supercharger or turbo charger IK20's are fine for normal altezza

A few people claim they can feel the difference etc, but I really doubt it to be quite honest, if you put your car on a dyno before and after I dont think you will see anymore then 0.5KW, thats if your old plugs were munted!

If you guys ever do a Large GB I can supply 4 x IK20s for about 35 Euros, Genuine Toyota Denso plugs!
But I guess thats only good if you get more then one set of plugs LOL

hi ppl..:)

I am not a Toyota owner. but I know that you will help me. right?

I have sent a letter to Denso people, asking them about the suitable spark plug... but I am still not convinced

This is the massage

Dear Denso Engineers

I have a 2007 Honda Accord V6 3.0 L, and I want to install a Denso spark plug on my Honda, which is IRIDIUM SPARK PLUG IK20.

But I am not sure if it is suitable for my engine, and if it is, do I need to change the original electricity wires that supply the spark plug. Also, would it affect my gear box because of the increase in pressure on the piston? Finally, I am going to install a K&N complete cold air intake, so is there any conflict going to happen between them, or they will perform better together.

They replied…

Dear Sir.
The answerer has 30 years career of spark plug engineering.
From our research of catalog, Ik20 can be installed for your Honda Accord 3.0L.
You do not have to change original spark plug wire because installation size between OEM and DENSO Ik20 are same.

And Honda Accord may not use spark plug wire but coil on plug.
When you install K & N filter, this will increase horsepower due to large intake air, we
suggest not IK20, but one colder heat range Iridium Power IK22.
The spark plug function is to maintain your engine within normal operating temperature.

High speed, high power engine requires colder (large number) spark plug.

So what do you think I should do now? I am really confused since most Honda owners have the IK20...
