Postby punkyy8 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 12:00 pm

I bought an is200 and I'm looking to get an LSD diff, I'm going to get one tonight off a lad that says its out of an is200 sport but is there anyway I'd know from looking at it that it's defo an LSD diff?

Yes it should do fine, it will probably only be a higher ratio crown and pinion on a normal altezza torsen lsd diff tho.

You may have to get a little bit cut/machined of the end of youre driveshaft tho but I'm not 100% on that.

Cheers for that Tomo... Anyone else know if it would fit straight into the casing and bolt straight up?

you wont have to cut anything off your drive shaft if you are using the same casing.....this is only the case if you change the casing to that of a tez....but your staying is , yes???? the diff will fit straight into the caseing. there is no problems with that :)

So if I split my is200 open diff casing and place in the Altezza Trd diff and fix it all back together it will bolt straight back on?
